Australia’s first Dyson Store opens on George Street in the heart of Sydney, marking a significant step in the brand’s global direct-to-consumer retail strategy. Designed as a fully immersive demo environment, the store is Dyson’s largest trading retail space across Asia and Australasia, showcasing the brand’s full portfolio of technologies through hands-on engagement and education.

The space is organised into a series of interactive demonstration zones that bring Dyson’s problem-solving ethos to life. From live air-quality visualisations and vacuum performance testing to a dedicated Beauty Lab where customers can analyse hair health and experience Dyson hair-care technologies, the store is designed to encourage discovery through uninterrupted, “try-before-you-buy” interaction. The project also sensitively regenerates a heritage building on George Street, contrasted by a contemporary glass volume adjacent to the Wynyard concourse. Housing the largest digital screens of any Dyson store globally, this modern insertion delivers dynamic content that reveals the engineering intelligence behind Dyson’s innovations.
