CRAFTED TO BE EXPERIENCED

R.M. Williams UK Flagship

The new R.M. Williams store in Soho is the outcome of six months of testing, refining, and pushing beyond what a retail space can be. From the outset, the focus was on creating an experience, not just a store. The space draws you in through considered visual merchandising, while details like the leather-woven strapping, crafted by local artisan Aiveen Daly, add a tactile layer to the journey. The result is a more edited, curated expression of the brand, encouraging customers to slow down and engage more deeply.

Craft sits at the centre of the space. Joinery by Sebastian Cox brings a sense of honesty and warmth, grounding the interior in natural materials. This is paired with a restrained and resolved design approach led by ACRD Senior Associate Ben Stafford. Materials have been carefully sourced locally by Deb Konig, with each finish and fixture contributing to a layered, considered palette. Detailed documentation by Sarah Jamoos and Amy Stafford ensured the design intent was carried through with precision.

The project was shaped through close collaboration with Paul Giannangeli, Design Lead at R.M. Williams, continuing a strong working relationship developed over the past three years. Delivered with Matt Fletcher as Project Manager, alongside Eclipse Manufacturing Solutions, Elektra Lighting, and Seen Tech, the store reflects a shared commitment to craft and detail. More than a retail environment, it sets a new benchmark for the brand as it continues to grow globally.
