In late 2009 ACRD was approached to develop a strategy for a new retail accessories business. By April 2010 after creating the name, branding, packaging and designing the retail concept store Lovisa was born. Since then, ACRD has designed over 185 stores across 4 different countries.
By 2015, 5 years into a design rollout, we evolved the store format to improve the look and feel, elevating the brand to a new status. The prominent nature of the product was softened through soft wall curtains and mood lighting. The shopfront provides a contemporary feel through polished chrome, powerful signature signage and the beautiful timber herringbone floor.
The success story kept moving with a listing seeing the business grow even further. The inception of this brand was the brains trust of ACRD, which we are still very proud of today. From the creativity of the brand name to the store design, this brand has clearly captured the customers, delivering a smooth shopping experience with a contemporary feel. ACRD consider it to be a proud moment when you have the opportunity to work with a brand from it’s conception and 7 years on it turns into a retail giant.
