PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Directive for Skechers Chadstone was to refit of an existing store with the new L Concept which was developed by Skechers USA in 2016. It was the first store outside of America which incorporated a unique “break metal” finish on the shopfront, as well as Skechers’ iconic brick finishes and stylised floor fixtures.

ACRD’s first point of call for this store is to remove the 2 entries and steps within the store to suit 2 different floor levels. The solution was to allow for just one wide entry on the right hand side, a large window display on the LHS and level the floor throughout the store. Upon entry, the right hand side wall angles back into the store, drawing the customer into the more dynamic zone towards the counter and the iconic brick features.
